A few months ago, we partnered with IRCCS Humanitas in the project 'Brera in Humanitas,' realized in collaboration with Pinacoteca di Brera and Associazione Amici di Brera. In the video, the immortal expressions from the paintings of Hayez, Piero della Francesca, Raphael, and other great Masters were juxtaposed with the gazes of patients and healthcare professionals, absorbed in the waiting rooms of the hospital. The eternal connection between care and art was not the only one we delved into alongside Humanitas, and there is another that is very dear to us: education.
Starting from the gaze, we conceived other introductory videos for degree courses such as MedTec School, the program born from the collaboration between Humanitas University and Politecnico di Milano, which combines Medicine and Engineering to make personalized medicine, the true avant-garde of tomorrow, increasingly tangible. To narrate this liaison, we opted for detailed frames and engaging music, going on to describe in detail the degree program that, in 6 years, guarantees a single-cycle master's degree in Medicine and Surgery and a three-year bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering:
In order to help connect professionals with the essential tools for progress in terms of care, research, and continuous innovation, we then produced two Manifesto videos to introduce the two new three-year degree programs at Humanitas University: Medical Imaging and Radiotherapy Techniques, and Biomedical Laboratory Techniques.
In a few quick steps, emphasis was given to the subjects and courses, exemplifying the cornerstones on which Hunimed has long based its interests: clinical practice, research, and education, all guaranteed in an international campus that serves as a crossroads between today's medicine and that of the future, thanks to the interdependent relationship between sciences and new technologies.
The two videos were used for both internal and external communication for Humanitas University, as well as serving as a Call to Action (CTA) for the entrance exams scheduled for the next month of September.
That the gazes remain the same but the needs change, and the necessity to adapt to the evolution of times—and unforeseen events—had already been emphasized in the video produced in the spring of 2020 for CRUI (Conference of Italian University Rectors), the association of state and non-state universities:
During the pandemic, it was challenging to maintain the attention of the international audience, containing confusion and fear while ensuring efficiency in offering services. The world was changing rapidly in a few months, and new adaptation methods needed to be found as quickly as possible. For this reason, CRUI wanted to clarify and present how it had adapted a large offering by completely transitioning it to the newly established remote mode. The video presented data related to courses of study, exams, and graduation sessions, all accessible online, in a declaration of the accomplished update in terms of fairness, quality, and above all, safety.
